VS REGINA: The Tigers split their Saskatchewan road trip going 1-1. First, they defeated the Saskatoon Blades 6-2, the next night they dropped a close one in Prince Albert 4-2. Max Gerlach led the scoring charge finishing with 3 goals and 2 assists on the road trip. The Medicine Hat Tigers will begin a 5 game home stand starting with the defending Eastern Conference Champions Regina Pats. The Pats are coming into tonight’s contest with a 2-2-1 record, after defeating the Red Deer Rebels 6-1 on October 1st. It will be a homecoming for Pats forward Matt Bradley, who spent the last 3 seasons with the Orange and Black.

Nassen was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 3rd round of the 2016 NHL entry draft. Kristians Rubins, who was selected by the Tigers in the 2016 CHL Import draft is the first Latvian born player to ever suit up for the Orange and Black.

The Tigers acquired 18 year old netminder Jordan Hollett from the Regina Pats in the offseason. Hollett appeared in 19 games for the Pats last season, earning himself a 15-2-2 record to go along with a 2.83 GAA and .901 SV%.
