@ KELOWNA ROCKETS —  Tonight the Medicine Hat Tigers will visit the Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC to face the Rockets in their first game of a 4 game BC road trip. This will be the third and final meeting between these two clubs. The Rockets won 4-3 in overtime during their last visit to the Canalta Centre Friday night. The Tabbies will be fired up and ready to go after beating their Eastern Conference rivals, the Moose Jaw Warriors, 5-3 on Saturday night.

Medicine Hat Tigers – David Quenneville is the Tigers’ first defenceman in franchise history to score 20+ goals in back to back season. Quenneville is an offensive minded defenceman who loves shooting the puck and creating shooting lanes. The 19-year-old Edmonton native has a lot of poise under pressure and will make an impact on both ends of the ice. Kelowna Rockets – Cal Foote scored the game winning goal in overtime the last time these two clubs met and has 7 points (3G, 4A) in the Rockets’ last 6 games. Foote is a two-way defenceman who reads the play well.

In his first year with the Orange and Black, Linus Nassen has been making a name for himself. Hailing from Sweden, Nassen has 22 points in 38 games with the Tigers. The Tabbies blue line also features the towering shut down defenceman Kristians Rubins. Rubins is the first Latvian born player to ever suit up for the Tigers and he has netted 5 goals and 18 assists so far this season.

The Tigers acquired 18-year-old netminder Jordan Hollett from the Regina Pats in the offseason. Hollett is a 6th round selection of the Ottawa Senators and currently he is sporting a 16-11-3 record with a 3.37 GAA and a .897 SV% The Orange and Black also have veteran goaltender Michael Bullion. Bullion has a 10-8-3 record posting a .880 SV% and a 3.43 GAA.
