MILESTONES: Matt Konan recently played his 287th game in a Tigers jersey. That put him into 8th place all-time passing Kevin Riehl. Konan now needs to play only three more games to pass Stacy Roest for 7th place. Konan is also closing in on another big milestone. He is only two points away from 100 on his career. Emerson Etem hit a big milestone for the season scoring his 51st goal in his 50th game of the season a few games against Brandon. Perhaps the biggest milestone that has been recently achieved is Tyler Bunz’s passing of the all-time win record with his 106th win. Bunz passed Matt Keetley to stand alone among the past great Tigers goaltenders.
STREAKS: Emerson Etem’s 19 game point streak came to an end the other night in Moose Jaw. Over the streak he amassed 23 goals and 9 assists. Hunter Shinkaruk (9G, 8A) and Curtis Valk (7G, 6A) have also been playing great lately collecting points in 9 and 7 of their last 10 games, respectively.
