    • The Tigers first 5 goals were either scored by Bradley or Fischer
  • Medicine Hat scores 5 unanswered goals in the second period to take control of the game
  • The Tigers put up 50+ shots on goal for the 8th time this season
  • Nick Schneider wins for the 5th time against the Oil Kings this season and his first start since Jan. 24, Schneider now has 32 victories on the year

TIGERS FAST FACTS:

    • Zach Fischer has 10 points in 4 games, his 7 goals against Edmonton come in just 4 games played
    • Matt Bradley has 10 points in 5 games and is tied for the team lead in goals against Edmonton with 7
  • Tigers forward Chad Butcher is just 2 games away from playing in his 300th WHL game, all with the Tigers. If Butcher makes the mark he will become just the 9th player in franchise history to reach the mark.
  • Only 4 other Tiger players since the 1996-97 season have reached a +40 rating or higher in one season, currently Clayton Kirichenko has a rating of +49, good for 2nd in the WHL

DID YOU KNOW?: With the Tigers victory last night coupled with a Lethbridge Hurricanes regulation loss, the Tigers magic number to clinch the Central Division moved to 2 games. With 2 wins of their own and a few losses by the Canes will seal the Tigers first banner season since 2007.

IN THE DIVISION: With the remaining games for the Tigers against divisional foes and a 2 point lead in the Division over Lethbridge, Medicine Hat will have to put their 24-4-0-0 record against the Central to the test over the next week and a half.

WHO TO WATCH: TigersMatt Bradley: One of the hottest Tigers as of late, Bradley is coming off of a hat trick last night and despite having been held pointless in the game prior, has been a dangerous player for Medicine Hat.       Oil KingsAnatolii Elizarov– The big defenseman sees lots of big minutes against the Tigers top lines, look for Elizarov to try and shut the Tigers down

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: During the 2002-03 season the Tigers took on the Lethbridge Hurricanes on this day. The Canes would jump out to an early lead but Clarke MacArthur scored his 23rd of the season to keep the Tigers alive. Medicine Hat had 7 different goal scorers on this night including Riley Day, Ben Thomson, Darren Reid, Steve Regier, Tyler Dietrich and Kieran Block. Medicine Hat cruised to the 7-4 victory, just their 28th of the season.

NHL DRAFTED / SIGNED PLAYERS: Matt Bradley (Montreal Canadiens), Nick Schneider (Calgary Flames), John Dahlstrom (Chicago Blackhawks), David Quenneville (New York Islanders)
