THIS DAY IN HISTORY: During the 2012 Playoffs the Tigers had the opportunity to sweep the Saskatoon Blades on this day. The Tigers opened the scoring in the second period on Emerson Etem’s 7th of the post season. The Tigers 1-0 lead was extended by Curtis Valk as the local product scored a pair in the final frame as Medicine Hat moved onto the second round of the playoffs with a 5-0 win.
