@ HURRICANES: Tonight the Tigers and Hurricanes will continue their 2nd round series in Lethbridge as the series shifts to the Enmax Centre. On Saturday night the Hurricanes managed to tie the series handing the Tigers their first loss of the post season. Zach Fischer now leads the Tigers in playoff scoring after recording another 2 goals in Game 2. Fischer leads the Tigers in goals with 6 in 6 games.

Going all the way back to the 1990-91 season, the Tigers were led by Kevin Riehl and Jason Miller with Lethbridge led by Jason Ruff. In that series the Canes would defeat the Tigers in 7 games.

THIS DATE IN PLAYOFF HISTORY: The Tigers headed into Game 3 against the Saskatoon Blades during the 2006 Playoffs looking for their 7th consecutive post season victory. The Blades got out to a quick start and 2-0 lead through the midway point in the 2nd period. Kris Russell would score his first of the post season on a power play to cut the lead to just 1. With the Tigers trailing late in the final frame, former assistant coach Jerrid Sauer potted his 2nd of the playoffs with 1 minute 15 seconds remaining to tie the game and force overtime. In the extra frame Brennan Bosch came up clutch again in his Tigers career, netting his 3rd of the playoffs 14 minutes into overtime for a 3-2 comeback win and 3-0 series lead.
