Tigers Announce 2009-10 Team Award Winners

Medicine Hat, AB – With the conclusion of the 2009-10 WHL Season for the Medicine Hat Tigers, the Club's annual year-end banquet was held last night at The Medicine Hat Lodge.

The night included a tribute to the Tigers three graduating 20-year-old players, along with the recognition of individual players for their outstanding achievements throughout the past season.

Also in attendance was former Tiger great and NHL Hall of Famer Lanny McDonald, who was on hand to present the Gerard Moyer Memorial Trophy to 20-year-old Bretton Cameron in recognition for his leadership abilities throughout the past season.

Leading the way for the Tigers was Captain Wacey Hamilton, who captured four individual awards, including being named the Tigers Most Valuable Player season. Graduating forward Bretton Cameron also captured four individual awards, including receiving the Fans' Choice Player of the Year in recognition of his great season. 

The Medicine Hat Tigers Hockey Club would also like to wish graduating defencemen Mark Isherwood, Tomas Kundratek and forward Bretton Cameron all the best in their future endeavours.
