TIGERS SIGN PROSPECT HOPWO

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers along with General Manager and Head Coach Shaun Clouston announced the signing of forward Corson Hopwo to a WHL Standard Player Agreement Wednesday morning.

Hopwo was drafted in the 7th Round of the 2016 Bantam Draft by the Tigers. The Victoria, BC native played the 2016-17 season with the Delta Hockey Academy Elite 15’s team of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. Hopwo registered 44 points in 30 games, notching 19 goals and 25 assists.

“We believe Corson will bring an element of skill, speed, compete level and commitment to our team. We welcome Corson and his family to the Medicine Hat Tigers,” stated Senior Director of Player Personnel Darren Kruger.
