GAME 31: TIGERS VS SPOKANE CHIEFS

VS SPOKANE: This is the only game between the Tigers and Spokane Chiefs this season. Last season the Tigers lost to the Chiefs 3-2 in overtime in their lone matchup. Konan recently played his 250th game and sits 23 games back of 10th place all time (Stefan Meyer) for games played in a Tigers jersey. All season long Emerson Etem has been stockpiling points and now he’s closing in on 200 for his career. He is currently sitting at 198 points. Tyler Bunz has a chance to climb to the top of the all-time Tigers win list this season. He currently sits in 4th place with 91 wins. He only has Mark Fitzpartrick (94 wins), Sonny Mignacca (96 wins) and Matt Keetley (105 wins) ahead of him on the list.

 

STREAKS: The Tigers have been receiving strong play from young forward Hunter Shinkaruk. Over the last 15 games, Shinkaruk has accumulated 15 goals and 13 assists for 28 points and was named the WHL Player of the Week for Oct 31 – Nov 6. Rookie Jayden Hart is also playing some his best hockey as of lately. Over the last three games, Hart has scored twice and added three assists.

 

WORLD JUNIORS: Tyler Bunz was one of four goaltenders and one of 16 WHL players invited to the Canada’s National Junior Team selection camp. The camp will take place on December 10-14 at the WinSport Canada Athletic & Ice Complex in Calgary, AB.
