J.F. Martel is in his third season as the Tigers Goaltending Consultant.

In addition to working with the Tigers, J.F. trains goaltenders full time in Calgary, AB as a member of the World Pro Goaltending staff.  Over the last three years, J.F. has worked with numerous NHL, AHL, ECHL, WHL and NCAA goaltenders.

J.F. graduated in 2007 from the University of Calgary with a Social Science degree.  During his 5-year tenure with the U of C Dinos, J.F. was a 4-time All-Canadian Academic nominee.

Before joining the Dinos, J.F. played in the Quebec Junior “A” Hockey League where he was runner up for the league MVP title in 2001.
