MASON SHAW NAMED PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to Mason Shaw for being named the Labels for Men Player of the Month for the months of September and October.

As the Player of the Month, Shaw will receive a Renoir suit courtesy of Labels for Men.

Shaw has been on a tear to start the season and led the league in points and assists during the months of September and October. Over that period, he scored five goals and set up 20 more for 25 points in 14 games. He had six multipoint games and ended the month on a seven game point streak. His most impressive performances came during a home and home series against the Kootenay Ice. Shaw helped the Tigers win both contests with an impressive five assists at home and another four two nights later in Cranbrook.

Shaw, an 18 year old from Wainwright, AB, is playing in his third season in the Western Hockey League. To date, he has appeared in 106 WHL Regular Season games collecting 26 goals and 72 assists for 98 points.

Shaw was drafted in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. He currently leads the team in scoring with 27 points (5G, 22A) and is also the league leader in points, assists and power play assists.
