DAHLSTROM ADDED TO TEAM SWEDEN PRELIMINARY ROSTER

Medicine Hat, AB — Tigers forward John Dahlstrom will have the opportunity to represent his country of Sweden at this year’s edition of the World Junior Championship as the hulking winger was invited to their selection camp which will run later this month.

Dahlstrom has represented his country on numerous occasions including U17, U18 and the Ivan Hlinka tournament. Dahlstrom played last year in the World Juniors, suiting up in 3 games and recording 2 points. In total Dahlstrom has represented his country 6 times.

This season with the Tigers Dahlstrom has recorded 30 points in 28 games including 15 goals. Dahlstrom is currently 1 point back of fellow Swede Filip Ahl of the Regina Pats for the highest scoring import player in the WHL this season.

The Tigers wish John the best of luck on this amazing opportunity.
