KIRICHENKO NAMED LABELS PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Medicine Hat, AB — Congratulations to Clayton Kirichenko for being named the Labels for Men Player of the Month for January.

As the Player of the Month, Kirichenko will receive a Renoir suit courtesy of Labels for Men.

Kirichenko lived up to the Captain status leading the Tigers to an 8-4-0-0 record including 4 straight wins to end the month.  Kirichenko had 12 points in 12 games played and saw him lead the WHL in assists at one point with 37. Kirichenko had 3 multi-point games during the month and 2 three point games.

Kirichenko is a 20 year old defenceman from Sherwood Park, Alberta and is in his first full season with the Tigers after being acquired from the Vancouver Giants last season. Kirichenko has played 89 games as a Tiger and currently leads all Tiger defenceman in assists with 37 and is a team best +35 on the year.

Clayton was drafted in the seventh round (154th overall) in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft by the Saskatoon Blades.

There will be a pre-game ceremony at Tuesday February 8th’s game vs. Prince Albert to honor Clayton’s achievements during the month of January.
