PRESS RELEASE

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers along with the family and the agent of Henrik Rybinski have mutually agreed to pursue a trade.

“In recent discussions, Henry, though his agent and his family, let us know that they were looking for increased ice time and a top two centreman role for Henry on our team,” stated Tigers General Manager and Head Coach Shaun Clouston. “With our Team Captain James Hamblin and Assistant Captain Ryan Chyzowski currently our top two centremen we are not able or willing to meet that request. We believe it is in the best interest of both parties to look for an opportunity for Henry with another team.”

Rybinski will not be with the team as they play a home and a home series with the Calgary Hitmen this weekend. The Tigers will pay a visit to the Saddledome Friday night before hosting the Hitmen Sunday night at the Canalta Centre.
