TIGERS ACQUIRE MCNABB FROM BLADES

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers announced today they have acquired 2000 born forward Cyle McNabb from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a conditional sixth round bantam pick in 2021.

“We would like to welcome Cyle to the Tigers Organization. We are excited to have him and look forward to working with him this season,” said Willie Desjardins, General Manager and Head Coach.

The 19-year-old Winnipeg product began his WHL career with the Vancouver Giants in 2017-18. The following season, he played 34 games for the Giants before being traded to the Kootenay ICE. McNabb played in three games with the ICE before joining the Saskatoon Blades for the remainder of the season. In his WHL career, the 6’1, 190 lb forward has suited up for 137 games, scored 10 goals and picked up 15 assists.

  • Conditional 6th Round Pick, 2021

The Tigers will travel to Moose Jaw Friday to battle the Warriors before returning home Saturday to host the Blades for their Annual Medicine Hat News Teddy Bear Toss game. Tickets for the Teddy Bear Toss game can be purchased in person at the Canalta Centre Box Office or online.
