TIGERS BESTED 4-0 BY WHEAT KINGS

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers were bested 4-0 by the Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first period, Riley Greig broke the stalemate midway through the second to give the Wheat Kings the lead. Less than five minutes later, Neithan Salame doubled up the lead to make it 2-0 for the visiting team.

In the final frame, Luka Burzan added a couple of power play goals to seal the 4-0 win for the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Goaltender Mads S√łgaard stopped 26 of 30 shots faced while Wheat Kings’ netminder Ethan Kruger turned aside all 32 of the Tigers’ shots.

The Orange and Black are now 14-7-1-0 and they will host the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday night.
