TIGERS DEAL BONNI TO CHIEFS

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers announced that they have traded 2004 born defenceman Ben Bonni in exchange for an 8th round pick in the 2023 WHL Draft.

“We’d like to thank Ben for the time and energy he put in to his time with the Tigers. Ben is a good quality defenceman with a bright future. With a lot of blue line depth here, we felt he would get a good opportunity to develop with the Chiefs.” says Tigers General Manager and Head Coach Willie Desjardins.

The Tigers next action comes this weekend when they travel east to Swift Current to take on the Broncos in pre-season action before returning home on Saturday for the second half of the home and home series. Tickets are available at the door, Rusty’s Roadhouse, The Scoreboard, Badlands Training and the Irvine Hotel. Doors open at 6pm with puck drop scheduled for 7pm.
