TIGERS SELECT 10 PLAYERS IN 2022 PROSPECT DRAFT

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have added considerable talent to their young core as they continue to build toward the future. The Tabbies selected 10 players in today’s Western Hockey League Prospect Draft, including three picks in the first 23 selections of this very deep draft class.
The Tabbies selected highly touted forward Gavin McKenna with the the first overall pick. They continued to add to the offensive core selecting Hayden Harsanyi 16th overall in the first round.
Tigers Director of Player Personnel Bobby Fox says “The entire organization is extremely excited about this draft class. With McKenna, we got the most sought after player in the ’07 age group and we couldn’t be happier. We drafted not only some highly skilled players, but quality young men that will contribute a lot to our organization and our city. We are really looking forward to watching the development of all of our draft picks.
