TIGERS SELECT 11 PLAYERS IN WHL BANTAM DRAFT

Medicine Hat, AB – The Western Hockey League (WHL) hosted the Bantam Draft today in Red Deer, AB.

WHL Clubs selected players who have graduated from the Bantam age category during the draft, which meant choosing players born in the year 2004.

The Medicine Hat Tigers drafted 11 players, including Oasiz Wiesblatt with the 12th selection overall.

The Tigers would like to congratulate all the players drafted today and look forward to watching them develop into future WHL players.

The 2019 Prospects Orientation Camp will begin Friday, May 24th at the Family Leisure Centre where our ’04 and ’03 born drafted and listed players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent. All ice sessions will be open to the general public and free to attend. The schedule will be available to the public at a later date.
