TIGERS SIGN GAPTER

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers announced today the signing of 2006-born Defenceman Kolby Gapter to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.

The Arvada, Colorado product played in 60 games during the 2021-22 U15 season with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders scoring seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points while he added another 59 games played in the U14 Roughriders program in the 2020-21 Season accumulating five goals and 12 assists for 17 points.

“Kolby is a right-handed solid two way defenseman. He shows a good ability to defend whether it’s a good stick or using the body and closing a gap quickly. He does a good job of evading forecheckers and moving the puck north while showing good instincts to jump up offensively.”
