TIGERS SIGN WATSON

Medicine Hat, AB — The Tigers are very excited to announce that the club has signed defenceman Ryan Watson to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.

Watson, a native of Delta British Columbia, played the 2017/18 season as a member of the Delta Hockey Academy Prep team of the CSSHL (Canadian Sport School Hockey League) where the 2002 born defenceman recorded 4 goals and added 15 assists in 32 games. Watson also recorded 7 points (1G, 6A) in 4 playoff games with Delta.

The 5’11” 160lb blue liner also suited up for Team B.C. this year, as he lead them to a Gold Medal in the WHL Cup, recording 5 points (1G, 4A) in 5 games.

“We believe that Ryan has a promising future in the game and look forward to his successes as a member of the Medicine Hat Tigers. We would like to welcome Ryan and his family to the Tigers organization.”

The next generation of Tigers will be in Medicine Hat for the teams annual Orientation Camp set to get underway June 1st at the Family Leisure Centre. All on-ice sessions are open to the public and admission is free, so be sure not to miss it.
