Victor Stasiuk 1930-2023

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are saddened to learn the passing of former Head Coach Vic Stasiuk.

Stasiuk coached the Tigers from 1977 to 1979 helping lead the Tigers to a divisional championship berth in 1978.

Stasiuk played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League spanning from 1949 to 1963 with the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins winning three Stanley Cups before moving on to coaching in 1963 in the American Hockey League and eventually in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers.
