HURRICANES BLOW BY TIGERS

WHL GAME SUMMARY  –  TIGERS WEBTV HI-LITES

Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 on Sunday night at The Enmax Centre.

After Lethbridge jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, Tigers forwards Linden Vey  and Wacey Hamilton each scored to tie the game heading into the 2nd period.

Linden Vey‘s fifth goal in five games extended his point streak to five games, while Emerson Etem, who had a four game goal streak snapped, drew an assist to extend his point streak to six games.

That was all the offence the Tigers could muster as Lethbridge added two more to lift the Hurricanes to victory.

Goaltender Deven Dubyk (4-2-0-0) stopped 27 of 31 shots in the loss.

The Tigers were held scoreless on three power plays, while Lethbridge went 2 for 4.

The Tigers now head East on Thursday, November 11th to face the Brandon Wheat Kings.  Game time is 1:30 PM (CST) and can be heard live on CHAT 94.5 FM at tigershockey.com or watched via webcast at livestream.whl.ca.
