Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have produced many NHL calibre players and this June at the NHL Draft could add to that list. Dryden Hunt, Matt Bradley and Nick Schneider have all been ranked in the CSS Midterm Rankings which was released today.
Hunt, a 19 year old overager according to NHL Draft Standards is having a great start to his career as a Tigers as he has recorded 8 points in 6 games since coming over the January 5th trade with Regina. Hunt is coming off of a 40 point season in 2013-14 with the Pats and has already eclipsed that total. Hunt has 55 points this season, which is good for 11th in the WHL. Dryden also has the league’s longest point streak, currently sitting at 16 games.
Hunt has been ranked #160 among North American skaters and if he keeps his current pace could hear his name be called in Sunrise, Florida this fall.
