TIGERS FINISH STRONG AGAINST WARRIORS

WHL GAME SUMMARY  –  TIGERS WEBTV HI-LITES

Moose Jaw, SK – The Medicine Hat Tigers overcame a two goal deficit to go on and defeat the Moose Jaw Warriors in a 6-3 win Friday night at The Moose Jaw Civic Centre.

The win snaps a three game losing streak for the Tigers.

After spotting the Warriors two goals in the 1st period, Tigers forward Ryan Harrison took over, scoring three goals in the second period, including two 20 seconds apart. Harrison (3G, 2A) finished the night with five points.

In the 3rd period, the Tigers responded with three more as Linden Vey, Tyler Pitlick and Patrik Parkkonen, with his first career WHL regular season goal, scored to put the game out of reach. 

Both Linden Vey (1G, 2A) and Patrik Parkkonen (1G, 2A) each had three points, while Emerson Etem chipped in with two assists.

Rookie Hunter Shinkaruk added an assist to run his point streak to five games.  The first year Tigers now has five goals and 12 points in 17 games.

Medicine Hat went 1 for 3 on the power play, while killing off three of four Moose Jaw man advantages.

The Tigers now return home on Saturday, November 13th to face the Regina Pats.  Game time is 7:30 PM (CST).  Both games can be heard live on CHAT 94.5 FM at tigershockey.com or watched via webcast at livestream.whl.ca.
