TIGERS TAKE DOWN REBELS

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers earned their first win of the 2010-11 season with a 2-1 victory over the Red Deer Rebels on Friday night.

It was night of firsts for many of the Tigers.

Forwards Tyler Pitlick and Ryan Harrison each scored power play goals, counting their first goals in a Tigers uniform.  Head Coach Shaun Clouston also earned his first win as the Tigers bench boss.

Goaltender Deven Dubyk earned his first win of the season stopping 31 of 32 shots.

Foward Linden Vey chipped in with two powerplay assists as Medicine Hat finished 2 for 6 with the man advantage, while holding Red Deer to one goal on six powerplays.
