TIGERS WIN STREAK COMES TO END

WHL GAME SUMMARY  –  TIGERS WEBTV HI-LITES

Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers saw their win streak come to end as the Saskatoon Blades scored in overtime to post a 4-3 road victory.

Leading 3-2 heading into the 3rd period, The Saskatoon Blades scored once in the period and again in overtime to steal a point.

Tigers Linden Vey led the way with three points, scoring once and adding two assists.  Vey now leads the Tigers in scoring with 25 points.

Also scoring for the Tigers was foward Hunter Shinkaruk and Emerson Etem, with his fifth goal in four games.

Goaltender Tyler Bunz (5-3-1-0) stopped 27 of 31 shots in the loss.

The Tigers are right back at it on tomorrow in Lethbridge to face the Hurricanes. Game time is 6:00 PM and can be heard live on CHAT 94.5 FM at tigershockey.com or watched via webcast at livestream.whl.ca.
